APP is joining the Foto community and sponsoring a photo walk in Downtown Raleigh on 9/26/26!

You’ll spend about two hours walking a through downtown with other photographers from the Foto community. Along the way, you’ll make some photos, take portraits of each other, and talk to people who notice the same light you do.

This year’s theme is contrast. Light against shadow, old against new, whatever catches your eye and won’t let it go.

The landing page lists the NC Museum of Natural Sciences as the starting point, but it will be Morning Times, 10 E Hargett St, Raleigh, NC 27601. In any case, you’ll receive a confirmation email prior to the walk with details.

The Details

• Duration: ~2 Hours

• Bring: Comfortable shoes, your camera (any camera will do. Even your phone!), water, and maybe some cash for food or drinks.

• Cost: FREE!
